One Moore Year
2004

It was a rather uneventful year...which after last year with moving is a very good thing! When I looked back through the calendar this year, all I saw was different cities scribbled all over the numbered squares.
So this years newsletter looks more like a travelogue.

January

We took our family vacation early this year and went to Disney World on Martin Luther King weekend.  Poor Mr. King he gets hounded by the press wherever he goes even Disney World. I was just so proud of Ian taking care of the paparazzi.  That Marty is a blast on vacations!

End of month Brian was back in Puerto Rico living la vida loca.....while I shoveled the most snow that fell on Indy that winter!

February

Brian went to Ireland on business.
I  wish he would quit coming home dressed like the locals!

March

Another business trip for Brian this time to Delaware. He took a nice boat trip while he was there.  He might be a wee hard to spot in this photo....look hard!

Still don't see him......click HERE!

Shameless plug for a friend.
I made her family's website for their restaurant located in....yes Delaware!

April

For spring break, me and the boys took a car trip out to Augusta, Georgia then to Charlotte, North Carolina, and back to Augusta. We wish people would quit moving!:-)
Brian went to Ireland again for a week.

May

On their way to Chicago, friends Margie and Jerry came to visit.
Margie is the friend I went to London with a couple of years ago.
It was right when the hoof and mouth disease was beginning to spread. Don't worry we came through it fine, here we are at Stonehenge!

June

The boys took their annual trip together, this year to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They went to the Smokey Mountains National Park and various tourist sites.  Brian especially liked Dollywood....wonder why?
I asked, and he gave me two reasons!

June brought a visit from my sister Cheryl from Texas.  We met up with Ohio sister Georgia and daughters Kim and Jamie in Brown County, Indiana. We spent the  day shopping and picking up old men! This one could cook so he was in big demand.

July

Me and the boys had our annual boating trip with The Simpsons (not of the Homer variety) on Lake James in Angola. Ian's best friend Christopher came for a couple days to visit. I went to Texas for a weekend to sweat......I mean visit my sister. Ian turned 15 this year, a freshman in high school and doing very well.  He stopped playing piano after 8 years of lessons and now plays the electric guitar. Just like his father did at that age. So now instead of asking him to practice piano, I'm constantly asking him to cut his hair!

August

I'm just going to use August to flaunt our nephews.
Seeing that the only place anyone went was Brian for a clambake,
not even I can swap a head on a clam!

September

Brian had a business trip to Raleigh, North Carolina for a week. So I took advantage of cheap airfares and flew down for the weekend. Time was spent with dear old friends.
Brian has been whistling ever since!

If I'm not around after Christmas I would imagine it's because of this picture.
Brian looks just like his mom circa 1964 in it! :-)

October

Every October I go to Surrey, Canada to meet with my reading group friends from the net. We go to meet a favorite author, but mostly we go to see each other.  People are always a bit nervous when I say I'm going to visit my net friends, but its no biggie.

November

Besides Thanksgiving, November always brings Collins birthday, who turned 11 this year. Collin is also doing very well at school and has met a lot of new friends here. And like most 11 year olds he knows everything about everything.  It's surprising how helpful he is playing Trivia Persuit!

 December

Seeing that most of you know me pretty well, and know that I'm pretty organized...you know this was long done before December. So really I could put whatever I want here and you wouldn't know the difference. Instead I will just put Montana and Lego.

To all our family and friends...
have a WONDERFUL Christmas Season!
